8 Easy Steps to Schedule an Appointment

Many of the Spirit, Mind, or Body assignments include making an appointment with a department on campus. Please review how to make an appointment below.

8 Easy Steps to Schedule an Appointment

  • Ensure you give enough time to schedule, have the appointment, and meet your deadline. Many offices will be unable to accommodate a day-of or next-day appointment. There is a chance that the Office may not have anyone available to meet with you.
  • Email or call the Office you need to schedule an appointment and Introduce yourself.
  • Be kind and patient.
  • Explain why you're contacting them.
  • Ask if they will help you schedule the appointment (be mindful of your due date).
  • Confirm the date, time, and location of your appointment and enter it into your calendar.
  • Thank them for helping you.
  • Show up to your appointment; if something happens that will not allow you to attend, make sure to contact the office early.
