Parking Regulations

Due to limited parking spaces, the Springfield College Department of Public Safety enforces all parking regulations strictly. Faculty and staff are reminded not to distribute Faculty/Staff Parking Permits to students; violations will be referred to Human Resources.

Parking Lots

Student/Faculty Parking Lot Allocation by Permit Decal:

  • East Lot Decal: Lots: 7, 15, 18West Lot Decal: Lots: 5, 6, 9
  • West Lot Decal: Lots: 5, 6, 9
  • Commuter Decal: Lots: 2, 5, 9, 15
  • Faculty/Staff Decal: Lots: 2A, 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, 19Important: Lots 2A and 4 are reserved 24/7 for faculty, staff, and approved guests/visitors only.
  • Important: Lots 2A and 4 are reserved 24/7 for faculty, staff, and approved guests/visitors only.

Special Notes:

  • Lot 14: Only authorized vehicles are permitted.
  • Lot 20 (Brennan Center): Requires a Resident, Commuter, or Faculty/Staff permit decal.

Visitor Lots

  • Lot 1: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. is visitor parking for Admissions and the Stitzer Welcome Center located inside Judd Gymnasia.
  • Lots 4, 10: Limited amount of visitor space for vendors and visitors of college faculty, etc.
  • Loading and Unloading Vehicles

    Individuals should call the Springfield College Department of Public Safety at (413) 748-3516 to request permission to park closer to their residence hall for 15 minutes.

    Failure to call will result in a ticket.

    The individual should park in a parking spot. Parking illegally with flashers on will result in a citation.

    These areas above are emergency vehicle lanes only; parking in them will result in a citation and the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.
