  • About Your Pride Card

    Protect Your Card

Your Pride Card should be in your possession at all times, and must be presented upon request to any Springfield College official. Although the card is issued to an individual, the card remains the property of Springfield College. It is non-transferable and subject to Pride Card terms and conditions.

Your card can be used to make purchases both on and off campus. For your protection, you should treat it with the same care as you would your driver’s license or credit card.

    DO NOT:

    • Mark or bend your card
    • Punch holes in your card
    • Scratch the magnetic strip on your card
    • Use your card as an ice scraper
    • Add stickers to your card

    Lost or Stolen Cards

If your Pride Card is lost or stolen:

    • Deactivate your card immediately to ensure your funds are secure and your building access privileges are not compromised. Login to your Pride Card Account using your PrideNET username and password.
    • If you have deactivated your card, but then find it prior to being issued a new card, you can reactivate it by logging into your Pride Card account. Cards will not be reactivated over the phone.
    • The Technology Services Center can issue you a new, replacement card for a $50.00 fee.
    • Please note - Filing a police report does not waive the replacement fee for a stolen card.
    • When a replacement card is issued, only the new card remains active. All previously issued cards become unusable.
    • Once the new card is activated, related services such as Pride Dollars and your meal plan, are immediately available.

    If you need a card
Please schedule your appointment here and stop by the Technology Services Center located in the first floor of the Learning Commons during your scheduled time.

If your Pride Card has expired, is defective, worn or your status or name has changed*
If you turn in your Pride Card for one of these reasons, it will be renewed or replaced at no charge. If you fail to turn in your existing card, it will be treated as a lost card, and applicable fees will apply.

    * Please note - this does not include abuse of the card. The Technology Services staff ultimately determines whether a card shows signs of normal wear or abuse.
