: Graduating Soon? Don’t Lose Your Files!

How long do I have access?

Before or shortly after graduation, we strongly recommend that you download and back up all important documents, files, and photos to a personal storage location (like a personal Google Drive, OneDrive, or an external hard drive).

What Happens to Your Access After Graduation?

  • You will retain access to your Student Self-Service, Student Account Center (to download 1098-Ts and pay any outstanding bill), and email (storage reduced to 15GB)  as long as your college login credentials remain active.
  • To access these services once PrideNET access is disabled (see below) use either of these public URLS:  https://mypridenet.springfield.edu/techhelp/ OR https://springfield.edu/its
  • If your account is inactive (expired) for more than 90 days, it will be disabled and considered abandoned.
  • Abandoned accounts will be permanently deleted after two years.

Other System Access Will Be Disabled*:

  • May Graduates: Access ends on September 1
  • All Other Graduates: Access ends 90 days after your graduation date

*This includes systems like Google Workspace, M365 (Microsoft 365), and PrideNET.
